Due to growth in the Asia Pacific area we have a vacancy for a suitably qualified sales executive. Our sales executives are responsible for driving revenue through prospecting, marketing and selling our suite of SaaS (software-as-a-service), channel management solutions to online retailers, both large and small. Our Sales Executives have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the leading names in eCommerce including eBay, Google PayPal, Yahoo and Getprice.


This role will see you focus on closing new business with small to mid-sized online retailers and large enterprises. You will work closely with the team to ensure customer acquisition and revenue targets are met and exceeded on a quarterly basis.


Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and build pipeline.

  • Develop, negotiate, and close new business opportunities with online retailers.

  • Help to provide account management and direction to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and revenue growth with existing customers

  • Increase revenues by developing, communicating and driving effective selling strategies based on valid, customer-specific value propositions

  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of all opportunities, contacts and account history and provide appropriate communication of such to ChannelAdvisor management

  • Manage contracts and agreements to ensure that expectations are being established, communicated, and met

  • Meet and exceed individual annual quotas for contracts/revenue


Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience selling software or other solutions-based technology offerings, preferably SaaS

  • Proven success in penetrating and developing accounts in the interest of identifying key decision makers

  • Experience selling in a remote capacity, utilizing technology such as WebEx to demonstrate software and further articulate the value proposition

  • Experience selling to retailers and manufacturing companies ideal

  • Account management experience helpful

  • Online media / marketing / channel experience a plus (knowledge of SEM, PPC technology and services)

  • Experience carrying and achieving toward a high annual revenue quota

  • University degree required, relevant disciplines preferred

  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese

As a ChannelAdvisor software expert, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for helping to support a growing team of Sales Executives by proving technical expertise throughout the sales cycle to sign SMB clients. This individual will assist with product demonstrations, perform opportunity analyses, deliver/coordinate internal training sessions, and strategize with Sales Executives to determine the best way to pitch our softwares\srvices for individual prospects.  The Sales Engineer will act as the link between Sales and Product Management/Services, ensuring that the feedback gathered on sales calls is relayed to the product management team, and that the Sales team is aware of all changes/enhancements to our platform/products. Sales Engineer will also support product training to the sales and services teams.


Essential Job Functions:

Assist Sales Execs with product demonstrations on Sales calls.

Assist Marketing and PM with developing the pitch for new products and/or enhancements to existing products.Field ad hoc technical inquiries from prospective clients regarding product functionality, industry strategy, implementation options, or full service work-flows.Gather competitive intelligence and product feature suggestions/needs, from sales calls and communicate them to the Product Management team.Participate in cross functional internal discussion to ensure that Sales needs are being met throughout the organization.Review inventory data files for required/recommended values, and communicate what’s missing.Work collaboratively with Services and Implementation groups to ensure customer satisfaction and optimize chances for process improvement.Create/coordinate/deliver Product training to the staff. Deliver product training to sales and services teams


Required Skills:

  • Bachelor degree and 5 – 7 years professional experience, with at least 2 years working in a software or SaaS industry

  • 3+ years in a presales, solutions, or sales engineering role

  • Prior experience in all technical aspects of the sales cycle, including proof of concept (POC)

  • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communications skills

  • Have a proven track record of demonstrating software solutions and executing proof of concept plans to SMB prospects

  • Background in software development and/or customer support is a plus

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin required

This position will be based in our Great China headquarters in Shanghai.


The Director of Client Services will directly oversee the following teams: Implementation, Campaign Management and Technical Support.  Successful candidate will manage a team of 20+ staff.  The Director of Client Services will provide strong strategic and tactical leadership in all aspects of this customer-focused company as we continue to expand globally.


The Director of China Services will be:

  • Customer Centric - Reaffirm and strengthen our customer-oriented culture by acting as the lead advocate for our customers. Take direct responsibility and accountability for all facets of customer success, retention, and growth, working as a strategic member of the  team to enhance all post-sales customer activity, including all aspects of customer on-boarding, customer support, customer success, professional services, and account management, with the ultimate objective of improving the retention, success, and growth of our customer base.

  • Collaborative - Work closely to SUPPORT sales, product development, marketing, etc., to improve and enhance the customer experience, and to ensure close collaboration with our sales team to identify and nurture opportunities for expansion as part of our “land and expand” go-to-market strategy.

  • Work with our global teams in North America and China to ensure a local- and culturally-appropriate standard of service in China while leveraging the global scale of our company to provide a unique and differentiated customer experience.

  • Strategically Focused -  Innovate / Define and improve the customer lifecycle for our broad spectrum of clients, from small middle-market retailers to large enterprise customers, from self-service to managed-service accounts, and establish baseline metrics for measuring and improving customer progress through this lifecycle.

  • EXTREMELY DATA CENTRIC - Provide timely, accurate, and useful analyses concerning the status of our customer base, including progress against predefined success metrics, risk mitigation and opportunity discovery.

Required Skills:


Professional Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive service experience in various B2B organizations, of which at least five (5) years in a director role. Demonstrated success is a requirement in these roles.

  • A demonstrated aptitude for both operating and thinking strategically while also being willing to “roll up the sleeves” and get into the details and work directly with customers when appropriate.

  • Experience within a global organization and working with customers of a variety of sizes around the world, including North America, Europe, China, and Latin America.

  • Experience either in an entrepreneurial role or being a key contributor in a go-to-market culture.

  • An aptitude for project management (concurrent projects) and developing scalable systems and processes to manage high-growth while enhancing the customer experience.

  • An aptitude for balancing resource constraints, budgeting, and “raising the bar” on quality and service delivery.

  • Experience with Software-as-a-Service business models.

  • A working knowledge of the e-commerce industry.

  • A keen sense of ethics and integrity.

ChannelAdvisor is seeking a talented Manager, Software Implementation to join our rapidly growing team in China. This position will manage a team of 20 Implementation Specialists in our Shanghai and Shenzhen offices. 


The Implementation Leader will manage teams of software launch professionals responsible for new ChannelAdvisor software implementations, including providing the necessary software application training, coordination, and support to clients. Our Implementation Specialists offer customized solutions to clients according to customer needs.


The Manager, Software Implementation will manage the teams day-to-day work including people management and project management.

The position requires a polished, experienced software professional with the ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks, and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.  


Outstanding communication skills in Mandarin and English are required.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Resource and forecast based on pipeline and assign implementation specialists accordingly

  • Support implementation specialists with the escalated issues

  • Act as a key checkpoint for deal governance to ensure the customer is fit for our software

  • Assist customers with configuration and troubleshooting during their implementations

  • Develop optimized training plans to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty

  • Onboard new employees and facilitate technical training for newhires

  • Attend the workshops organized by the company, and offer presentations as needed

  • Business trip: 10%



Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in the software or e-commerce industry 

  • At least 2 years’ experience leading a team, including project management, resource forecasting and status tracking

  • Must have experience in management consulting

  • Experience providing remote (WebEx, Goto Meeting) training on software applications, preferably SaaS, is required

  • Experience with e-commerce marketplaces (eBay or Amazon or AliExpress) or paid search SEM (Google Adwords, Google Shopping) is a plus

  • Strong English speaking, reading and writing skills required to assist American Product Team with product enhancements
